This residence is a contemporary interpretation of a “Traditional Home with a courtyard”. The house was designed with all the rooms and private spaces around the central skylight courtyard which also doubles up as a family living space. The private spaces were defined with glass walls, which provide for space separation yet retains visual fluidity. Passive design features include air vents at lower level and clear storey vents at the level of the skylights facilitate stack effect that provide a comfortable indoor environment.
